Your Mental Diet

The question today:  What does your Mental Diet consist of?  What are you filling up on everyday to keep you in the best frame of mind?  Do the things you focus on in life keep you in an upbeat and motivated mood, or do the things you think about leave you feeling down and discouraged. 

Take a minute to consider your Mental Diet.  What you allow to stay in your mind and focus on will have a definite impact on how you feel! 

Consider how helpful it might be to concentrate/meditate on uplifting thoughts throughout the day… EVERY DAY!  I can promise you that if you make an intentional effort to do this your outlook, mood, and feelings will be positive!  This doesn’t mean you’ll never have negative thoughts… it means that when they present themselves they won’t be able to just ‘stay’ in your mind.  When you develop a diet that consists of concentrating on good thoughts, they begin to outweigh the negative ones, and ultimately leave you feeling uplifted
