This is the stage where people begin to actually MAKE changes in their behavior, and have a sense of will power to continue plugging along with this change. This is a very encouraging stage and motivating however is the shortest of each of the ‘stages’.
This is also the stage where people are willing to take advice and assistance most. Hopefully during this stage they can establish healthy and helpful habits for maintaining the change that has occurred. If this stage is done well, then they can transition more easily to the next stage of change.
