Today I am overwhelmed at how important it is to believe in ourselves! Just by the power of our minds we can help, hinder, or halt our future. As I drove home tonight I was flooded by the reality of how believing ‘other people’s’ thoughts about who we are, and what we are capable of doing can be VERY devastating for the potential of our future.
If I continued believing what many people told me about my potential, I would never have applied and been accepted into University, much less a graduate program. This little note is short and sweet… and might ring familiar to you… DON’T STOP BELIEVING IN YOURSELF!
In a spiritual context: Don’t forget that you are capable of doing all things through Christ who strengthens and empowers you! AMEN
The minute you begin to doubt your ability to do something you’ve stopped believing in the power that lies within you. Let’s make it a point to stop doing that!
